Glastonbury 2023

How have I never heard of slowdive. Love em.
Brilliant. ‘Golden Hair’ to end the set was the best song of the weekend for me, amazing!

If you liked Slowdive there, have a listen to Verve’s first ever album A Storm In Heaven and watch some of their life performances from back then:

British psychedelic bands of the late 80s and early 90s were really good and underrated in the long line of psych music.

Denis Denis would make a good City song… Rodri Rodri…

I mean I like Rodri just as much as the next blue.
But I’m not sure I like him quite this much. These are quite intense lyrics…

Oh Rodri, ooh-be-do, I'm in love with you
Rodri, ooh-be-do, I'm in love with you
Rodri, ooh-be-do, I'm in love with you
Rodri, Rodri, oh with your eyes so blue
Rodri, Rodri, I've got a crush on you
Rodri, Rodri, I'm so in love with you
Oh, when we walk, it always feels so nice
And when we talk, it seems like paradise
Rodri, Rodri, I'm so in love with you

Think theres only Kompany I’d feel comfortable singing these type of lyrics :)

Look up the genre "shoegaze" there's loads of YouTube and Spotify playlists with Slowdive kinda music, with them featured of course.
If Glastonbury has done thing for you pal is open up a whole genre of music to you. The term shoegaze is bollocks anyway but some good stuff to explore from the original bands and if I may put forward from now a band from Hull called bdrmm who are just about to release their 2nd album after a superb first

Not sure who these guitarists are playing for Blondie, not that they're bad players or anything, obviously not, but their style seems a bit too cheesy and widdly widdly for their style and songs

anyway I'm gonna go back and watch Slowdive's set
*** Scratches chin ***

What is this new playing style...........? ;-)
