Glastonbury 2023

Hes not a great songwriter, he is just a songwriter for his audience. Its shite really. Not knocking the kid for it like, hes good at what he does, but he is miles away from real music
The same can be said about most 'modern' acts. It's the very reason why record companies have been throwing money at the likes of Elton John and other 1970s 'throwbacks' for years longer than you'd reasonably expect.

There's brilliant songwriting talent out there, but if you're not a freak or Instagram/tictok influenced, the chances of breaking through are tougher than ever.

I believe that in 2022 the Eagles wanted significantly more than Glastonbury would ever pay.

Fleetwood Mac without Christine Perfect probably won't ever happen.

Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham wouldn't be worth crossing the road for.

Depeche Mode would be perfect.
I wouldnt cross the street to watch Fleetwood Mac without both of Buckingham and Stevie Nicks in it. Take one of them out and it wouldnt be the same. Complicated band and that is the main dynamic in it

catching up with Royal Blood, I loved their first album but I never got their second until a long time after release and wasn't as into it, not sure if they have had a third but they still sound like I remember them.

He does well to get those tunes out of a base guitar imo, drummer crashes fuck out of the drums lol

Exactly same as me mate . I tuned in for a laugh and ended up watching the full set and really enjoyed it .
