Glastonbury 2025

I'm really surprised tbh. Did they actually move? Obviously, the music was great, but their late 70s / early 80s shows were unbelievably boring, like watching a photograph while listening to an album.

They certainly weren't the worst band I've ever seen, but they were easily the dullest on stage.
To be fair I think the not moving / behind the keyboard / podium is part of the robotic feel they aim for as a trademark Kraftwerk show. The graphics / screens have moved up a level or 2 since the eighties though so that helped. Christ they were loud and bassy though - the bass went through you. Perhaps they had forgotten there hearing aids

Daft Punk, Madonna, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, David Bowie, Mick Jagger; just some of the artists he's collaborated with. Can't be many producers with that breadth of work, Rick Rubin maybe. Can't think of many others.
Great point. Maybe Quincy Jones and the guys at Motown. A very select group of people with amazing talent.

You don’t expect them to be running round the stage. Brilliant set of songs. Great venue. Crystal clear sound very loud like I’d not really heard before apart from in really good clubs. 3D visuals with glasses that really worked. Great light show. British Cycling Team riding round the velodrome during Tour De France. Friendly fucked up crowd. It felt like an event.

She makes pretty fun pop rock that's got influences from American alternative acts like Weezer, Paramore, and Jack White, but also has a bit of Disney in her (Miley Cyrus stuff) and a bit of Taylor Swift. Think Kelly Clarkson or mid-2000s Avril Lavigne. Not 100% my cuppa tea but she's released some fun singles and she's got a lot of energy. Will have a full live band for sure and she's got good sing-along choruses that will work the crowd.
Good Weezer spot.

He's 80. Why would anyone expect him to be pitch perfect. Good on him. Not a fan myself though. Fuck off MMick Hucknalllll ffs
I can never understand people who slag off singers who are getting on a bit for having a bad sounding voice. When you go see an older act, you go for the atmosphere and the nostalgic like feeling. It will be the same when Oasis start their gigs on Friday and rip into Liams voice. Just go enjoy yourself and sing along to some songs.
