Maccabees rocking it on the other stage (iplayer)
But they had shit voices to start with.I can never understand people who slag off singers who are getting on a bit for having a bad sounding voice. When you go see an older act, you go for the atmosphere and the nostalgic like feeling. It will be the same when Oasis start their gigs on Friday and rip into Liams voice. Just go enjoy yourself and sing along to some songs.
Sang in my local about 20 years ago - popped in on his way to Manchester airport ... In great form then. A few pints, and a quick round of Maggie may and he was gone!Guess I saw him live a few years ago in Vegas so knew what to expect, sounds alright to me.
Liam had a decent voice. You’re getting him mixed with with Ian Brown. Noel’s voice wasn’t very good but he admits that himself. But they had shit voices to start with.
He’s a Londoner, his father supported Hibs, he grew up supporting Arsenal, liked Denis Law so became a rag,(but only in the 70s, not permanently according to him). So how does he latch on to Celtic? Glory hunting ****.Celtic and Farage loving FOC
He is dead to me!!
2 songs in and already bouncingProdigy time!
Yard Act are fucking shite mate.Every year I read comments on this thread re: Bands I’ve never heard of that are smashing it on stage.
I usually look them up and have found lots of bands that really impressed me (fever Ray last year) Not so much this year.
Everyone I’ve looked up so far have been shite.
So come on lads/lasses, let’s have the next yard act, Dry cleaning, Fontaine’s etc.

What a silly thing to say. Because I’m not a rock star doesn’t mean I can’t have a critical ear. That was pretty poor imo.Rest your case in what ?
How many gigs have you knocked the crowd out in ?
