Had the absolute time of my life.. best 5 days of the year so far..

Anyone else go? or watch any parts on TV.

I thought the biggest disappointment was gorillaz.. so far from what I was expecting.

gorillaz were talked up before and after the gig on bbc2....looked fine to me,i wouldn t expect too much from them.florence, ray davies & editors looked cool....

missed most of sunday...as had a mate round.

tom yorke played!?(missed that) hot chip ,vampire weekend, snoop, dizzie and groove armada (as always) were cool too imo!

If you're not stopping off at Glyndebourne on the way home, you've got a couple of days to recover and get the straw boater and blazer out for Henley on Wednesday. Then a week or two in the cottage at Rock and it's Glorious Goodwood, then straight into Cowes week.

The social scene is such a whirl at times.

Shitting in a bucket and staying up for 3 days straight whilst the too cool for school types try and out indie band each other......

Count this cat out

Was soo good. Got back early this morning. Gorillaz were awful.

Watched on tv.They were very good, never really listened to them before.Never a headline act though.Same with Muse, never heard any of their stuff before and i thought they were shite.
For the 40th year its been the worst i can remember.

I saw faithless last night they were mint.

Glastonbury is far too big for my liking I prefer wakestock because its smaller only like 10thousand.

Im guessing the TV didn't show the guy reading from a sheet of paper on the gorillaz set.. or the turkish band which were shoved on to fill up 15 minutes. there were 1 or 2 good songs. thats it.

I know Glastonbury isn't everyones cup of tea. but I've been going for 5 years now and I have loved it every year and plan to continue for years to come.

I love wandering to the little stages and finding bands which you wouldn't ever think of watching and which other festival has such variety of this.

It's what you make it. all the "too cool for school etc" spend way too much time watching the main stages and haven't experienced the rest of the festival.

Some psycho bikers riding horizontal for no price.. and a little band from sweden rocking their heart out in Arcadia. that's the spirit of Glasto and my best times ever!

Got back about dinnertime. I had a great time as I always do but did think that the lineup was pretty average compared to previous years. I know that they were a last minute replacement but Gorrilaz aren't a headlining act.

This will probably go down as a 'classic Glastonbury' because of the great weather but there weren't many memorable performances in my opinion.
