The rumour on twitter is that we are re-signing him from the columbus crew Didi Hamann style. They got him on a free, we are paying £400k. I was sceptical but then i saw his picture...

I was chatting to some guy who was a manager for CIS and he played golf with Gary cook. He always claimed that Bertie was signed because he was Jo's "special friend" and they had to get him as part of he deal.

No idea of the truth of this but always thought it was a good rumour

why was he only here for one year when Jo was here for longer then?

People drift apart, it's sad but it happens
 
I am probably being naive here but I thought we signed Glauber Berti because of Mike Rigg's contacts in Germany.
