Glenn Hoddle is a ****

I didn’t listen to commentary as usual, I just recognise Hoddle be a bit of a Cnut

Lol -I’ve had a love hate with him. Hated in 81 & his controversial comments but remember wearing my shirt out & thinking I was him.

I also think some of his comments will have had extra shit added to them by the press.

What a player though.

Jacob the 'norwich' fan is too! 'how can pep look so relaxed with everything going on around the club at the minute '. Why u bringing up the allegations u **** we've just got to the semis of champions league! Hargreaves batted it away tbf

I genuinely think some of you on here are ruining your own enjoyment of the games by concentrating so much on every word the commentators say and trying to find an anti City hidden message in every comment.

The biggest complaint seems to be that he mentioned the lack of injury time in the first half. An identical complaint that I’ve read about a thousand times on here. Quite often by people now complaining that Hoddle was complaining about the same thing.

This is bang on. He was absolutely fine last night, people are weird as fuck. The only commentator I'd say noticeably hates us is that geriatric old **** Tyler, but every other fanbase thinks he hates them aswell so maybe he is just shit.

Turned the commentary right down after 25 mins, due to Hoddle. Was much better. Nearly as bad as Neville commentating on Utd at the weekend. Surely there must be some non affiliated co commentators somewhere!
Although I do like the fact he is bitter we took their place in the top 4 - it's so not true.

Tyler does not hate any team he is 70 odd year old man who enjoys commenting on football , some City fans are like Liverpool fans paranoid

I actually listened to the radio 5 interview with Hoddle when he made his comments. They were blown out of proportion and/or taken out of context. He was actually talking about his faith and trying to fit in how bad things happen in the world despite his God. He said how he really struggled with how people were born with physical/mental disabilities - how can his loving God have let this happen? They hadn't been alive to have done anything wrong and deserve any 'punishment'. So he managed to fit this into his belief system by guessing that they must have lived previous lives and made mistakes during those.

It's all a bit of a jump, but from the tone of his voice and the context, he certainly wasnt meaning to put anyone down. He was just trying to understand without having his own belief system being shattered.

So I felt a bit sorry for him regarding how it all played out.

But it doesn't stop him from being a **** still. And he is one.

Near the end it was all praise City, as we were clearly going through, but until then it was all about what Bayern needed to do.

Press in twisted media narrative shocker……

Went in Bayern end for a laugh and had loads of ale even buying a 2 pinter with 10 mins to go. Walked around concourse like you can at City at the end of the game and had a chat with Hoddle and Fletch. They were proper decent and complimentary and also agreed that we are the finest team and that I could well be right that we will win the treble. I ain't cocky just love sticking up for OUR team/club. Cheers all.
