Glory supporters. Why do they do it?

Glory Hunters will never go away. As long as teams like The rag's, Real, Millian, ajax or any other big club what win's cup's and leages every year will attracked Glory hunner you can not get rid of them becuase there's millions of them an endless horde of glory hunting basterds

I'm from Manchester, lived in Aberystwyth (mostly Liverpool, Everton and ManUre fans.... not many following their local or even a team located in the prinicipality of Wales), Plymouth (ManUre, Spuds and Chelski... few and far between backing their local), and Norwich no (Chelski, Ar$enil and Spuds... with a mjority pleasingly following their local).

Perceived success through shirt availability at a ntional sports shop?
JJB, Sports Direct, JD only sell big 4 shirts etc?
Poor education? Never taken to their local?
Conformity?

Low self esteem? "Basking in reflected glory (BIRGing) is a self-serving cognition whereby an individual associates themself with successful others such that another’s success becomes their own."

It's not just small towns. I used to live in West London which is Fulham or Chelsea territory. Yet I used to see more rag shirts than Chelsea shirts.

The post above about reflected glory sums it up. Coming out of Wembley there were loads of coaches of rags from places like Leicester & Wolverhampton. They were the most aggressive of all of them as their reflected glory had been stripped away. These are the sort of people who go to England games to see their "heroes" in the flesh.
