I used to go with a girl from New Mills. It was a very strange place but she was a great shag, so can't be all bad!

You're either a wum or you were that pissed that you couldn't stagger a 100 yards from the Norfolk for a choice of 3 kebab houses.

I walked up the high st about 400 yards past Ladbrokes on my right and the Norfolk on my left. Stopped at the crossroads, and spotted Norfolk Pizza so dived in there.

I did have a few, but I'm from Denton where every other shop is a kebab palace. I expected at least one in that trek being near to such an revered pub that the Norfolk is, but to no avail.

The pizza was a 6/10.

Fair dos then mate. More curry houses than owt else.

Ive lived in Oz for 25 years mate, the Bridge is a shithole I agree but Glossop is more shall we say weird and leave it at that (the hills have eyes describes it very well imo) :)

I'm from New Mills, hated it, full of rags and full of people with small minds who point at planes and was amazed at the invention of the wheel back in the 80s :-D

Don't mind Glossop so much although I do avoid gamesley like the plague...
