GMP confirm that Manchester is Blue (2011 parades)

Re-writing history..it's what the MUEN (which has no bias at all as our anti-agenda members will say) is all about.

Never get tired of reading this classic thread. The efforts of the MEN and SSN at the time to deny the obvious were as staggering as they were sickening.

I've just read the first 20 odd pages of that thread, fuck me that's got to be the best thread on any forum on the Internet, I hope it's raining on the 13th, we need a weather forecast.

Fucking hell, they've still tried to sweep it under the rug.

Reasons why they didn't turn out:
  • It rained.
  • Lost Champions League final.
  • City's figures inflated because we'd waited so long.

Forgot to mention:
  • It was a bank holiday. Ours was on a normal working day.
  • It was No. 19 and they'd overtaken Liverpool. Should have been a cause for huge celebration.
  • First rag parade since 1999.

There's absolutely no way you can reform the context of that shite parade to absolve their fans of how shit they are. The only message you can take from that is literally how fairweather rags are.

Absolutely took the words right out of my mouth Skash, the reporter went half way round the world to defend their 'turnout'

I'm sure I remember Bacon saying there was one million turned up to their parade. He was only 900k out.

The biggest pisstake of it is he knew he was chatting shit, Sky and the media reported it as 200k and that's what the world will still think is the truth.

Shows you how the media work, they don't let the truth get in the way of what Slurgie wants to say.

They might have more fans or people who just say they support them for the sake of it, but there's more City fans in Manchester who are passionate about there club. United have thousands of fans who arnt really fans and just support them for the sake of it, i have a mate who does and bet most on here know people like that.

Not saying City don't have fans like that but most blues i've come across (not at a game) either have or used to have season tickets, been away games etc. a high percentage of reds say 'yeah went wigan at home once in 2008'. I don't bother going into detail with them as they lack the brain power to understand, but we all know on here that at least 80% of City fans from Greater Manchester and areas in the North West are life long passionate fans.

12k fans in the centre of manchester turned up. Thousands more at OT that were not counted, yet from your 60k that turned up the MEN has counted the 30k inside the "etihad"

Dont ever let facts get in the way of the old myth about Manchester being blue.

The council refusing us a parade for the CL and League double... AGENDA
