GMP have no lawful right to stop City from selling those shirts because they do not constitute a public order offence at all.

They have probably asked or advised the club to suspend sales of them until after the game, the club have probably decided to co operate with this request. The club would have been perfectly within their rights to refuse to comply.

Meanwhile, the knight of the realm Slur Alex Ferguson does all he can to get everyone at it unnabated.

I wonder if all the stalls on Busbyworld Way have withdrawn all their T-shirts that are ALL about City. I doubt it.

Went in the City store @ COMS yesterday to acquire a couple of the t-shirts there (local v tourist & Tevez ones) only to be told that both GMP & the FA had ordered all items relating to local rivalry or Tevez to be taken off the shelves & removed from sale !!!

How ridiculous is this getting now ?? These are items of clothing for goodness sake ! Maybe thru should have concentrated more on keeping the scum behind on Tues instead.

30 years of shit we've had to take of those cunts and now its time for them to take a bit back and GMP and the FA step in to ruin our fun, what a bunch of nob heads.

You are spot on with this. Answer is no they won't. Everytime I have been there in recent years the stalls are full of anti city t-shirts and stuff. It will be just the same on wednesday and watch you'll see a couple of coppers stood nearby doing absolutely nothing. Absolute joke.
