Goal Difference of 5.

Weren't we nearer to 15 goals ahead of them at one point?

And they were a stack in front of us earlier in the season and we turned it right round
If we're a point or two behind at the end of Jan, we're in with a hell of a chance of the league.
If we're in front, we're in limbo land

At the end of the day, while it was amazing, beyond words, the trashing we gave them, it was only and still remains 3 points.
In one day they moved to joint top, and cut their goal difference in half.

We can't fault now. It wasn't a particularly bad performance or a bad result as such, but we can't let it halt us.
This is the key time, they are mentally better equipped and more experienced to deal with the pressure that will come on in the new year.

Fergie will play every mind game in his arsenal, he knows how to get the last inch out of his team, to wind them up like a spring and unleash them at the correct time, and how to manipulate his opposition.

Other teams don't roll over for them, much like they don't for us, but teams fear them, they know one mistake can cause a goal and if they go 1 down, they know that there's very little chance of recovery, especially if it is against the run of play.
A lot of it is in their head, but to think that teams go out before the game accepting loss is a ridiculous.

Now is the most dangerous time of our season and we will see what we are made of and if we can truly challenge for the title or if we will fall away like so many teams have done.
There will be times when we stumble, there will be times when we will struggle and play crap and look like 11 lads just clumping the crap out of each other in the mud.

No matter how frustrated we get, we need to push on, every point is significant and crucial, every single point, we have to earn, we have to work ourselves to the bone, to push through even when we're hurting, when bad decisions go against us, and get that point even when we don't deserve it on the day, especially when we don't deserve it. No hard luck stories. We are well capable.

We need to believe fully in ourselves that even if there is 2 mins left in the match that we are still perfectly capable of getting a goal.
Stay calm and just absolutely believe, no matter how shite we are playing, that if we stay focused we'll get there.
Not concede stupid goals, and eek out those 1-0 wins. It takes seconds to score a goal, and we need to remember that on both sides of the pitch.

It's the pressure that will be our down fall, and we must learn to deal with it.
Fergie knows what he's doing, his players know what they are doing, he'll even probably claim that the derby loss was planed to motivate them even more.

Don't panic, don't get frustrated and focus on us, forget whatever mind games they try and play on us.
That's what we need. Calm and a wise head, and we'll be all right.
No team is too small, no point guaranteed. Earn that jersey every second they are on the pitch and scrap for every ball. 100% effort, we wont win every game, but we can't ask for anything more than that.

At one point we had a goal difference that was greater than the next umpteen teams put together. We've def hit an iceberg! 2012 - centenary of the Titanic goin' down. 14 April 2012 Norwich away. Perhaps they'll try to play a bit of football on their own midden rather than the 'can we get what we started with' like the Baggies did.

There'll always be results like this in a season but the major fact is that the scum have more top teams to play away than us.

We've already been to Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Scum. etc.

That's all well and good but if they drop points at say Spurs, it's a fat lot of use if we drop points at say Norwich on the same day.

WBA was a bad result, that we must bounce back from if we are to stay in with a chance.
