It's Yaya's in the COC easily. It looks like the hand of god picked the ball up and flung it in the top corner

Not being funny but if it isn't Yaya's at Palace there's no hope for football.

Had everything.

Importance, strength, pace, composure, skill, vision (Nasri), accuracy and utter self confidence.

Thing is importance can be attached to many goals, readily with the benefit of hindsight, albeit Silva's against Hull was one where it was immediately evident we were in a rather large hole.

Toure's at Palace is quite similar to the goal I nominated in the home victory against Spurs. It had all the attributes you list but involved more players and an act of selflessness on the part of Toure.

We probably have more nominations for best goals scored this year than we managed in the entire 06-07 season.

Top ones are Yaya's and Nasri's in the COC Final, Toure v Plzen, Navas v Spurs, Negredo v Spurs, Negredo v West Ham.

Navas v Spurs is vastly underrated. Incredible strike.

Yaya's goal in the champions league against Pizlen. Intention is key when in comes to appreciation of goals and that goal was just a display of pure ability. I like the 123 he played with Nasri and then he went on to do the business. Mesmerizing goal.
