Great name. Anyone know about him? First Ive heard of him

Now confirmed by BBC. Loaned straight out to Swedish side Djurgarden.
A striker apparently..
 
It's funny how much coverage this is getting. We've signed 6 or 7 of these Ghanaian kids before from the same place, with Mohammed Abu (on loan at Vallecano) the most well known, and all of them have been low profile signings. But because moneybags City aren't spending they are reporting on it.

All those people who said we wouldn't get a replacement for Balotelli in looking a bit silly now aren't you?
 
I'm a Djurgården supporter who has seen Godway play twice for us, once last fall and once yesterday. We've tried him both in the number nine position and last fall also as a winger. His main strength seems to be his speed and good movement from what I've seen so far. He hasn't had that much luck with his finishing yet though. You can see that there is alot of potential in the guy but he's still got a long way to go obviously since he's only 18. It will be interesting to see if he can break into the starting eleven during the season because the positions he plays in are the weakest on our team.

Very polite of you to prepare him for his whooooosh. !! top hole old chap as said whooooosh was fully deserved.
 
I thought he had been a City player for a while? He was training with the Swedish team back in November and they said he was a City player back then.

I will be keeping tabs on him during the season though since he'll be playing for my local team. He played the second half yesterday in Djurgardens second preseason game. I saw the game on a lousy stream but I think he did alright.

About 2.30 in to this clip you can see him score in one of the practice games he played in November (no 34 blue team)

Godsway Donyoh - new striker

Can't see this posted elsewhere but apparently we've signed the Ghana striker Godsway Donyoh tonight and loaned him straight out to a Swedish side. Anyone heard of him?
