Oh, and DB was the mascot at the Stoke game but he won't disclose what costume he was wearing.

Funnily enough, my costume consisted of sky blue umbro brother replica shirt, white shorts and navy blue umbro diamond socks. I would've gone as a nun or vicar but would've looked out of place running out with the rest of the team!!

The photos from that day are brilliant; we had two sides of the ground and in the background all you can see is a mass of inflatable bananas, Tip-Ex bottles, cigarettes, frankenstein monsters, paddling pools etc etc.

A fantastic day out. Not quite sure why Stoke then 'copied' us with Pink Panthers though. At least Grimsby's haddocks had a bit of local relevance!!

I'd love to see this happen in large numbers again. It just shows you with our new found wealth and back in the old days we will never change, that being passionate and humourous fans.

I for one will take mine into the pub in Sydney if this go ahead hah!
