Going out in Manchester

Hi Guys,
Next week me and my friends will attend City - Liverpool. After the game we want to explore Manchesters nightlife.
Can u tell me the hotspots in the city?
We are 28 years old and like more popular mainstream music - house, dance, r&b..
So we're looking for some nice bars or danceclubs.
We will stay in YHA Hostel in Castlefield, but I assume the most nightlife will be around Deansgate?
How can we get there? Are there enough taxiservices at saturdaynight?

Every tip for a nice Manchester evening is welcome! Cheers!

Guy will be reading a cocktail menu and booking a hotel in a short while it seems, his wallet will be more than a few pounds lighter, and we will get another of his tedious hotel and cocktail bar reviews.

Stomach is gurgling like a witches cauldron, the head engaged about 6 minutes ago. My kindle is at the ready and the kettle has just boiled. I'll bake it for a few more minutes, make sure it's properly ready and then go and enjoy a few chapters of my book whilst excavating my bowels and sipping a nice cup of Yorkshire tea.
