In the Northern Quarter Tib Street Tarven does and maybe Dry bar. You've got the courtyard aswel but it isn't a great pub/bar.

For convenience, you could start off in Dukes's 92 and Barca then head to Spinningfields and/or Deansgate Locks. All close to where you're staying. The Northern Quarter is a taxi ride away if you're not familiar with the city

Have you visited? Would take a city break in Bruges or Ypres or Ghent over Manchester any day of the week mate. Beer is on a different planet as well. Delirium Tremens best beer in the world!

Brussels, never again!

Never been mate. Stayed in Ypres and Bruges in April and was blown away by how beautiful the two cities were, the beer and how friendly the locals were. Shame you had a bad experience.

The good parts of Brussels are outnumbered by the shit holes granted but it's still a great city to get drunk in. Belgian beer is the best in the world and there are some fabulous places to drink it in Brussels.

The only place you will find 2 pints for 3 quid in town is Wave bar on Portland street. Probably the best bar in town and a real eye opener.
