Just been on facebook and seen a few different statuses that say "went manc today" "going manc 2moz cant wait"

WTF.

A manc is a person from Manchester not the place itself.

I live in warrington and that may be the problem but does anybody still living in "manc" find its named this aswell?

simple abbreviation perhaps mate?we use the term manc all the time..but down here we like to shorten pretty much every word anywa.
