Golden generation? Ha - what a joke

Time for hungry youngsters to be given a chance who aren't yet spoilt by ridiculous wages and consider it a huge honour to play for their country.
 
part of the problem is certain players are bracketed with being world class when in truth their just above average,to many believe the hype,world class players can change a game in a second or provide a spark to help win a game when seemingly having a quiet game....
 
Just what I thought would happen as soon as we played any half decent side and Germany are not even the polished article yet. I still they're flakey at the back. God knows what Brazil would have made of us. It highlights the fact that Sven actually overachieved with this shower.
Anyone else think that Shrek is the most overweighted English player?
