I know some on here have lamented a lack of decent films so far this year. Well, i would highly recommend this film. If you 'enjoyed', so to speak, City of God, this film based on the Neapolitan mafia will impact in the same way.
It is a harsh and moving journey into the world of the most deadly crime organisation in Europe. There is no sentimentality, no glamourising this despotic group.
You will not be disappointed.
On at the cornerhouse until the end of the month.
