i was talking about this the other day with my drummer.

we decided on 'pacific trash vortex' it's a real place. i think it's great and i might use it.. so don't nick it will you.

i'm trusting you here..

Sounds a bit prog that Aphex and yet I can't help but like it. It could be one of those Montreal bands (A Silver Mount Zion style) but also very Manchester with the 808 State/The Whip song connections.

In answer to the question I always wanted to call a band The Shamal, dunno why.

shand's you are correct. it has a little prog rock in there. like some drug induced hippy band.

it's cool but not sure..

The Beatles...

shit, what do you mean that's been used?

okay okay U2.

What? you must be shitting me! how can that be taken aswell?

well thats me out of ideas then.

If the Old Grey Whistle Test did an Electro spin off you'd be a sure thing.

'Next up is Pacific Trash Vortex with their 27 minute single titled Goa Backpack Triphop Odyssey, enjoy'

The Big Shit. Or.... Tipsy Pangolin and the Minty Beefburgers. Or...Torpsa Crabwank and the Lush Beef Curtains. Or.....The Underwhelmed. Or...The Embarrassed. Or my personal fave....The Talentless Trendy Twats With Wanky Haircuts.
