Good holiday destinations in Europe

What some good places to go in Europe( in your experience) looking for somewhere with a beach, but at the least hot and with a pool. Going in July....

Went Barcelona last September.. was pretty good... stayed in a Hostel by the beach... who needs a pool when you have an ocean on the doorstep?

Going Amsterdam tomorrow.... can't bloody wait!!
