Good pubs near the etihad stadium?

Why don't you reopen one of them. See if you can run a business that only generates a decent income one day out of every fourteen, nine months out of every twelve.

And probably only for 2 hours pre and post match

From my limited experience of an away fan at the Etihad, the pubs local to the stadium are not much good.

My favourite pubs are the Hare and Hounds, Shudehill and the Britons Protection, Great Bridgewater Street

Both serve decent beer too

I will do the English Lounge first. Will need to eat something to soak up the beer.
Not used to drinking these days. Those sinks at the ground will take some hammering ;-)

Next to Jutland St mate, the steep cobbled one.

It's a big sports bar, always hammered with Blues on matchday

Beers nothing to write home about but it's a great spot for a last pint while waiting for a cab to the ground.

Aye, some decent pubs on that one of yours chief, bit too spread out for me though!

Edit: if your after food, Terrace does a really good scran, The Breakfast is the best in Manchester imo!

Think i'll try this. You can't beat a full English. Have to try the deluxe if they're throwing in a "free" brew ;-)
