Why don't you reopen one of them. See if you can run a business that only generates a decent income one day out of every fourteen, nine months out of every twelve.
And probably only for 2 hours pre and post match

Turks Head for beer then the English Lounge round the corner for grub.Me and my son are over for the Crystal Palace game. Usually do chippy and Mary D's.
Fancy a change. Somewhere for a sit down bite and a couple of decent beers.
Would be grateful for any advice.

Don't be tempted to eat in the Turks, food is poor and tastes of fish grease in there.Cheers. I will give that a try.

Where's the Green bar ? Never heard of that one .We do a little pub crawl when it's a decent Saturday game
Turks Head
Odd
Terrace
Tib St Tavern
Crown and Anchor
Green Bar
Then a taxi to the ground
Town...
Loads of great pubs/Bars that do food and good beer , then walk it , taxi or tram to the ground
Next to Jutland St mate, the steep cobbled one.
It's a big sports bar, always hammered with Blues on matchday
Beers nothing to write home about but it's a great spot for a last pint while waiting for a cab to the ground.
Aye, some decent pubs on that one of yours chief, bit too spread out for me though!
Edit: if your after food, Terrace does a really good scran, The Breakfast is the best in Manchester imo!
Just out of interest, does anyone know if the bank still opens on a matchday?
