For me the best by a mile is Savage - say's it how it is and is funny with it

Worst has to be -Steve Claridge - how someone with a personality bypass gets on telly and radio so much is beyond me - I'd rather watch/listen to Garth Crooks than that journeyman

Savage is good, but I'm t'other way round with the other two. Can't stand Garth Crooks, and despite the delivery, Claridge is quite thoughtful in his comments. Never seems to have any axes to grind re 'The Chosen Few' teams in which others can't seem to see any bad.

Were blessed over here with the pundits we have here. Tell how they see it and dont sugar coat it. The world cup 1s were brilliant when they were covering the English games. They would go to BBC or ITV for the interview with Capello and if the questions that werent up to standard they would slate them big time. They will let rip over everything and the Irish teams in the last few years have had a right battering from RTE.

As for UK the best by far is Souness when he was on the panel with RTE it was brilliant before Sky took him on full time for them.

My personal favourites are Ian Cheeseman, Robbie Savage, Mick McCarthy, Jimmy Armfield and Marcel Desailly.

Alan Green is a fucking arse. And Chris Coleman, just because you're Welsh doesn't mean you're excused to pronounce everyone's name incorrectly ('Roberto Manseeny', Mario Balochelli'). Likewise Chris Waddle ('Never a pelanty for me, Alan').
