a draw is a decent enough result, considering that stoke are no pushovers, but why is it we seem to meet teams who hit a run of form at the right time, stoke being one good recent results, next week bolton playing out of their skin, then onto west ham who will be lifted after todays win over wigan....
No fookin excuses over those two games - whatsoever !! We need to dick the pair of them
i totally agree but is it just me that thinks at certain times,we meet teams who have started to get results and playing well, then they play us...

No. Its not a good result is it?

We were 90 seconds away from 3 points and we leave with 1.

Think about it.

^^^ this.

with ambitions to finish as high as possible conceding as we did so near the end is not acceptable to Manciti and he won't have been at all happy.

it is COMPLACENCY that is our enemy if you want to build a title-winning side, and so this ATTITUDE is not what we want. The team will be pissed-off at not getting 3 points and so our management.

it's not as bad as getting 0 pts, but we should have taken 3 pts by hook or by crook, and we shouldn't be feeling it's a good result - we want and need the BEST results. This should be our mentality, not one of making excuses to ourselves.

Good result in the end, Utd were extremly lucky to win there with the help of the Ref, Spurs were lucky to win there with the help of the ref, we got a draw there despite the ref.

When ferguson retires, alot of his bum chums will perhaps stop bending over for Utd and make it more of a level playing field

good thread, thank god for some positivity

good result, yes we conceded late but a point at the brittania is a decent result

Stoke were the better side and a win for Man city would have been real hard on them. Begovic had nothing to do all game and felt he should have saved the goal you scored.

Losing Pennant meant Stoke losing their shape until Tuncay moved up front. Despite a 10 minute spell when Man City had a lot of ball they caused us no problems at all. Great we got a late goal but overall is two points dropped for Stoke I feel based on the 90 minutes

I can only assume that you watched this on radio trent!

A good result is impossible with this manager.

Not sure what your point is? We've had plenty of good results this season even if you don't think today was a good result

Rags-Rovers 7-1.
Stoke-CITY 1-1 - Yeah, good result.

I don't know which other name you used to post under, but its clear that you have taken up the dropped baton with some relish.
