While i agree he's a very talented footballer, why can't he get in our side now? i just don't think he can be consistently good enough on a regular basis... he's almost ominus at times which affects us badly. This league is tough, talent comes in more traits than just skill and for me Robie doesn't have all the other necessary tools needed to succed in the prem i think he knows it.

I can see why you might hold that view, but he had a rape case hanging over him and then a long term injury with only a handful of games after.

Someone in Europe is going to get the real Robinho. I'd just like it to be us.

I feel a bit like Will Smith felt in I Am Legend when he realised he wasn't alone.

Yes i agree regarding the rape stuff anyone would of found that an horrible experience and i'm sure contributed to some of his offish displays.

We could always join Serie A, i'm sure he would be more suited to the slower technical game they play their :)

He was the most talented Man City of the last decade but sadly it seems he'll never get his mojo back. Only SWP (first time round) came close to what he can do.

I think it's a monumental shame if Robinho doesn't play for us again, because the boy is just a joy to watch when on form. Such a shame it hasn't worked out for him here at Eastlands.

Review of his first season. I miss him.

Ian Ladyman is a first rate tw@t...he's (along win Henry Winter) been putting the boot in for years.
The c@nt(s) never upset Slur Alex, which is amazing given the sh1t going on across the border in Stretford.

I hope the c@nts 'kin drop dead...sick to 'kin death if them!!!

Come on City!!!!....time to shut these tw@ts up!!!

I love(d) Robinho, but if it's true that he snubbed the Barcelona loan to play for Santos, to me that shows no ambition and I don't think he'll ever cut it in the Premier League then.

Don't underestimate the possibility that the guy's confidence has been shattered by his time with us, and he is no doubt loving the adulation of Santos as a whole, from his team mates to the fans. I say let's just see what happens with him after the world cup, during which I have no doubts that he will be a star, and also let's see what happens with us in the summer in terms of who's in charge, because there's no guarantee that Mancini will stay beyond the summer.

I would love for Robi to give us (and visa versa) one more season to see if it can work out, because before everyone writes him off as a flop, let's not forget he was our top scorer last year and this year he has been blighted by injury along with several other circumstances.

why do people always relate history to trophies won.

Because the likes of Liverpool are depending on an illustrious, trophy winning past to maintain their mythical Sky Four status. By all other measurements, City are now the bigger of the two. We have a higher ground capacity, higher average attendance, more money and probably a better squad. They have their great history but history is exactly what it is.
