Go to Tehran Kebab shop in Cheetham Hill if it's near.

As the name suggests it's Iranian, but they invented Kebabs and they are great, none of your elephants foot Doner crap.

I like a shawarmi when in Germany also, but give these a try.

Kubideh Kebab (minced Lamb)
Ju Jeh Kebab (baby Chicken)
Barg Kebab (lamb fillet with saffron)

It was closed, so ended up down the road at Santos, which was good, having a Kobida and Chicken Tikka. Can now highly recommend there!
