The Oldham Chronicle has gone into administration after reporting Oldham news for 163 years,
I delivered the Chronicle for years as a lad, sad but I guess it's a sign of the digital times.

Shame but I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise. I, too, used to deliver it. From memory it was OK for local amateur sport. My grandad had one page where my cousin and I got a write up for scoring whilst our kid got one for being sent off.

We used to get it every weekday where I was brought up ( Green Final on Saturday evening!)
