Goole have already said he'll never play for them again. 19 years to the day since cantona at Palace as well which is a bit odd.

Ever been to Goole? The guy attacked a local - thats per for the fucking course there - its all 6 fingers and your mams your sisters daughters brother type of town. Sort of place where people get attacked just for being IN Goole FFS !!

Had a great pe-match day there years ago when we opened our season up at Hull ( pre Tigers and KC Stadium days ) in the old Div 2 - coaches full of Blues descended on Goole and took the town over - ahh that was a day.

In the 80's, the Goole fans were known as ''The Gooligans'' such was their reputation back then. Allegedly they were local Leeds fans who had got bored of going to Ellend Road

Ghoul sounds about right, but in a perverse sort of way that video was comical.
I never had the pleasure of 'lower quality football' to use a Dave Love quote, but it's quite easy to feel sympathy for the Ghoul fans; but at least their captain got into the spirit of things.
