8 wins and a draw will do it for us 85 points can see chelsea finishing 2nd on 83 5 wins 2 draws and a defeat liverpool 3rd
6 wins 2 draws and a defeat and arsenal 4th 6 wins 1 draw and 2 defeats 81 points.

I can't believe Liverpool only seem to be taken seriously since the weekend when they have been up there all season. They were top at Christmas when we played them and I think it's fair to say were the best domestic team to come to the Etihad all season (despite Chelsea beating us).

I firmly believe City are the best team in the league but credit where credit's due to all 3 sides competing with us - I think we all realise that one or two slip ups for whatever reason and there's a good chance we won't finish where we all hope.

From season form, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, with Liverpool ahead of Arsenal only on goal difference.

From recent form City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool

This is according to Football365. I don't what they consider 'recent' but we have the best recent league form. Lets hope that form continues as it is until the end of the season. It also reckons that we will win on 84/85 points , I know it's competitive but that seems a bit low.

Each club has 2 games against the other 3 top teams, City have 2 away, Liverpool have 2 at home with the other 2 sides one home and one away. So obviously, Liverpool have a chance to upset the apple cart a bit.

Hmm, Liverpool has the best recent league form. Our last 6 games - W, W, L, D, W, W. Liverpool's last 6 games - D, W, W, W, W, W. Not sure how you can manipulate that data to show that we have the best "recent league form."

They have the toughest finish of the season, so I'll be interested to see where they end up, but by recent form they are bangin' on all cylinders.

Here's the difference.

Liverpool have a player who was directly involved in 60% of their goals this term and indirectly involved in 74% of them.

Literally three quarters of the goals that Liverpool have scored have either come from Suarez himself, as an assist or as an assist to the assist.

When that figure significantly drops I'll put them above "Spurs with Bale in a season where everybody else is underperforming"

But there are no signs of that figure 'significantly dropping'. Any team who is up there with 11 games to go should be classed as contenders but I don't think they'll win it, I reckon they'll finish 3rd

I think he means the rest of the Liverpool team turning up a bit more and not being so reliant on Suarez, not Suarez losing form.

I actually think this idiot is one the less bitter and deluded of the arse fans. Some of the other shit that comes out of their mouth regarding us is even worse

It's not on Last 6 though is it? We've won 8, drawn 1, lost 1 of our last 10 games.

No I don't understand that either.

Liverpool are unbeaten in 13, whereas it is only 4 games since we lost.
Liverpool have taken 26 points from the last 10 games; We have taken 25
Over the last 10 games, they have scored 32; We have scored 20
Liverpool have scored 13 goals in their last 4 games; We have score 4

How on earth are we in better form???
