Gooners/Norwich

I know the agenda talk pisses some people off but I've never thought it was just a scum bias, I think there's a Sky 4 bias and that was yet another example.

If Arsenal lose today then there will be a bigger incentive for Newcastle to win tomorrow.

it is still impossible for any team to have more incentive than we have for tomorrow.

I am really not worried abut that. They will be desperate to be win no matter what. They're not going to think, oh look, we could get third, lets try a bit harder than if we could only get 4th.

they would though, because by finishing 3rd they absolutely guarantee themselves a group stage place and nothing Chelsea do in Munich can prevent that.

And the current scoreline says what about us beating the carrot crunchers 6-1 at home a mere couple of weeks ago?

-- Sat May 05, 2012 1:34 pm --

Don't be daft. Not going to make them put in a better performance tomorrow. Unless you think that today's result means they won't try as hard tomorrow.

Good point. But the good news for City is that they're desperate to win and not draw. I'll take City's attack and defense against anybody's in a shootout.

come on arsenal, if norwich win this we are in for an even tougher game tomorrow against newcastle with them having the opportunity to go third!

it's a mentality thing, they'll try as hard as they think they can try, if they have an ever bigger prize for trying their best then I'm sorry but it will give them an extra edge, it's human nature.

If I say, do something and you get £50, then I say before you start no actually I'll make it £500, you're going to work harder because there's more on offer.

Is this their last home match? The fans will go beserk if they lose this. I don't think they're shit, though. I just think they're bottlers. RVP is a great player but he's no leader. They need a Captain Fantastic.
