This group has been set up by a couple of man city fans who want to bring Gordon Love over from Australia to see his beloved blues play for possibly the last time in his lifetime. The game we have chosen is one of the premier leagues most exciting fixtures, that is the Manchester derby!
We are first hoping to raise £1000, and then go from there. We have now got a bank account set up and any donations will be greatly appreciated. Please send a pm for details. Below is some infomation about Gordon from when he entered a competition by Ethihad and MCFC to bring a far away fan over for the game. A competion it is looking unlikely he will win.
So come on blues we can do this. Any comments of support are also greatly appreciated as we know the club are monitoring this closey.
Further details can be found on the main forum at:

"Manchester City has been part of my life for the past 63 years, but my wife and family would disagree on that and say "all of my life" my first game was 1946 when I was 10 years old, and it was the old second div in those days, I would trot off with my uncle every week home and away, rain or shine, then in 1955 my uncle and I had tickets for the Cup Final vs. Newcastle, and two weeks before the game my uncle became sick, and couldn't make the final, but insisted I should go, after the game I wish I'd stayed at home, because Jimmy Meadows broke his leg, no subs in those days, lost 3-1 and my uncle died two weeks after that, and I wanted a win so much for him.
I will cut along story short, I went into Army Service just after that, but still managed to see the 56 Final vs. Birmingham, all through the game I was wishing a win for my uncle, and I think he was there in spirit.
1969 I had to say good bye to my beloved City, because three months after the Leicester Cup Final, My wife and I with our young family, departed for a new life in Australia, over these past 40 years I have never lost contact with my club, I have missed seeing them live because we have only been back twice over these past 40 years, because I could only have time off work during the off Football season in England.
I would love to see them against Man United, and also see the memorabilia of the 1930s on display which I donated to the new Museum."
we have now got a bank account set up for all those who want to transfer money straight in.

Warpig suggested this, in another thread, i would personally donate £30 for this cause, This is not a thread trying to get him votes, this is a thread about a man who lives in australia and his storey made me want to start this.
Are there people interested, as this would be an amazing achievement.
