Graham Dott

there is no judgement one way or another in that report
The judgement has been given by the fact he's now suspended.
Look, i get it, needs must, blah blah butt these cases promote a nuclear death strike approach to anything surrounding it.
He could be innocent. I don't hold much fucking faith in our judiciary when people get sent to jail for words on the internet.

So this is public, everyone has gone "fuck that" and now he's sat at home, unemployed and unemployable and probably fearing to go out.

If he's guilty then he deserves the full bifta. But we don't actually know do we?

Happens all the time. Mendy being one such case. There are countless others i imagine.

I don't like it. The repercussions of the charge are such that it is not fair really and should be a private matter.

Hardly controversial. Football players get blackouts and injunctions all the time for this shit.

One strong argument against this is that when victims of these sort of crimes see that there are others who’ve been through the same thing, it gives them the strength to come forward to. While they’ve often sat for years, even decades, thinking nobody would ever believe them, so there’s no point saying anything.

Dirty nonce apparently

Such a bold statement at a stage where we know nothing. He hasnt been convicted of anything, just charged. If it was a burglary, or a robbery, or any other dynamically committed serious crime I would agree he there is a more realistic prospect of conviction than not which is why the CPS decided upon charges. An historic sexual offence allegation brought after lots of years is a different story and will be multi faceted. Very early to call him a dirty nonce. Very.
