I was stuck in Germany watching a dodgy stream, but I was pleasently surprised at the size of the crowd.

If there was a lack of atmosphere Im afraid thats more to do with the Early Group Stage syndrome rather than anything City related so I wouldnt make a big thing out of it. In the knock out phases (particularly the 2nd legs) the place would be rocking. Truth is we could have put on a Hull City away performance, lost 3-0 and still have a good chance of qualifying.

Until UEFA do something to encourage "sudden death" "cup round" football like they used to, it aint going to change. Theyve made it even worse now in the Europa League by having 6 games instead of 4.
Atmospheres in the group Champs league games are crap too. And how shite was the world cup until the last round of group games, where the matches actually meant something?

I would have thought Graham Taylor would have been more disgusted at the controlled build up play as opposed to his hoofer up and at em tactics. Did I hear him say Yaya wasnt a patch on Carlton Palmer at one stage??

When will tits like Taylor realise that the average football fan doesn't screw an employer for the kind of money he 'steals' from his employment. And unlike sponges like him, the average footy fan has to cough up every penny for his ticket.

Anyone see PhilBlueDipper at the main entrance West Stand last night? 'Nother one who probably got in fer nowt. Perhaps we might have had 40000 had the freebies shared out their good fortune with those who couldn't afford it.
