I also lost a day yesterday. Spent it in bed suffering with a hangover

See you know what it's like Manuel, you even thought you were managing the rags for one horrible minute, lol!

Yep Granada Reports and Look North West showed City's win and the usual interviews with fans etc. They even mentioned the Pellegrini song too!

No you're right, we did indeed win the League cup. The reason we didn't hear about it is because the wrong team won. If Sunderland were to have held their lead we would have been reminded of the fact. The problem with magazine programmes like of Granada Reports is that they are part of the larger broadcasting media enterprise who only consider the likes of the rags worthy of positive television coverage.
Before the anti-propaganda brigade start having a go at me; remember that many of the producers of these broadcasting media outlets are blinded by nostalgia where they still regard the top 4 as Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and the Stretford red socks. Providing Manchester City FC with any positive air time only serves as a wake up call for them which they're not quite ready to accept yet.

-- Tue Mar 04, 2014 7:52 pm --

No you're right, we did indeed win the League cup. I watched the Monday evening edition. It said Sunday was our 4th visit to Wembley in the last 3 years. Now let me think...

I know the OP is a day late, but the point he makes is still correct. We did get a small mention on our so called local news, Squeezed between a feature on Wio`s apprentice`s and the Govan p*ss can turning up at the Oscars.[WTF]
Still i suppose its better than dragging somthing up to do with , ["M"} . As they normaly do when we have a good result.

Agenda ? What Agenda ?
