Sorry fellas if this is a stupid question but say I put a bet on of 5 horses and one of them pulls out before the race starts does that mean that my bet is over?

Is it best to put on 5 individual bets?

if you are putting 5 on the national, are you trying to predict the correct order?
if so ask the bookie they will gladly explain and take your dosh......

if you are picking 5 on the national do as singles.....

if you have 5 horses in various races do a lucky 31, got all bets covered but if you do an accumulator 1 goes it all goes....
