Rockstar Games has confirmed that a new fix is currently being worked on that will end cheating and hacking in the online multiplayer portion of Grand Theft Auto 5. Since the launch of GTA Online in early Oct., players have discovered infinite money glitches and other exploits. According to an update posted by Rockstar on its official website from Dec. 27, a new fix will soon be released.

The company has patched GTA 5 several over the last couple of months to address numerous issues with GTA Online and other problems, but players have found work around methods to bypass Rockstar’s updates and discover new infinite glitches and other forms of exploitation.

Rockstar Games is confident that this new fix will remove all current infinite money glitches, as well are prevent future GTA Online and GTA 5 infinite money exploits. Find Rockstar’s full comment below:

In regards to reports of hacking and cheating in Grand Theft Auto Online, we are working on a fix that will remove any GTA$ gained through these blatant exploits, as well as prevent this from happening in the future. We'll also be taking appropriate measures very soon to punish anyone that we've discovered manipulating GTA Online in this manner (as we've stated previously, players who have received large sums of GTA$ but not engaged in any game manipulating through exploits can rest assured knowing they have nothing to fear).

If you have been playing GTA Online and received large sums of GTA$, but did not perform in any game manipulation, Rockstar has disclosed that those players will not be punished. However, if they choose to, any gifted money can be removed from your account by submitting a request to Rockstar Support. Find the company’s full comment below:

If you have been gifted a large sum of money or collected a large bounty and would like to have the money removed from your account immediately, you can submit a request to Rockstar Support to have your balance properly adjusted. Otherwise, the money you've been gifted will be removed once our upcoming fix is in place.

If you encounter anyone making use of a GTA Online infinite money glitch or any form of exploitation, you can notify Rockstar Games by using the in-game reporting tool. To do so, follow these simple steps:

In the Pause menu, under the Online tab, select Players and scroll to the offending player. From there, select Report and choose Exploits from the violation options.

Grand Theft Auto 5 was released in Sept. for Xbox 360 and PS3. GTA Online was launched in Oct. for the two home consoles.

You not think it takes the enjoyment out of the game? Everyone having all the money/weapons/cars due to some tit giving them the money to do it as oppossed to "earning" it?

I have just over $3m and have bought a fair few things, but I've played it for a silly amount of time, defies the point in playing when some wank bag on level 8 has all the planes/tanks etc without actually doing anything.

My money also only seems to be decreasing despite surivals/races.

Is it just me or can I not change the colour of my helmet? Yellow doesn't go with the biker image. It would also be cool to join The Lost.

Attack helicopters are gash, probably as I struggle to fly them, altho I have got the apartment towards the top of the city and find it entertaining to land on top of it then sniper the people who sit outside the apartment waiting to kill somone (it looks like you are in the aprtment/garage on the map, if you're on the roof).

I'm a shithouse, the only bike I have is for racing, wasn't interested in getting one that look'd good.

I couldn't give up my apartment (complete with crack pipe and whiskey) or my 10 car garage.

My cars are pretty.

Think I'll just stick to the survivals until the money thing is sorted, once it has been people may actually attempt the missions again.

Altho after we finished that survival, it cost me $18'000+ to refill my ammunition, a little under $2k profit for 20ish minutes.

I get too giddy with the rocket launcher.

Guns and ammo is far to expensive. I'm at about level 43 and only had $10,000, but after each mission this would go down to a few thousand because I would have to resupply the ammo. Nobody ever plays the races or online missions either. The only reason I now okay is because I've got loads of money and cool cars etc.

I figure I can't do it in Stockport, as much as it is needed, so I'll do it on the game.

I wasn't paying attention after you dropped me on top of the partment, diving of the edge without realising it.

i really dont find as fun as i used to. Its got SO much potential and its as if the developers said, "ok they are having enough fun here we dont need to make this part of the game, ok now lets fill this shit with stupid costs so people feel the need to buy gta dollars....."

takes way to long to do anything, the loads times are 2 long. The missions should be easier to access.
