I'm abit more confident as he mentioned us by name saying 'if a club like Manchester city came calling then of course I will be interested'
Oh yeah I'd be very confident of getting him if we put the bid in. I was just thinking if we were going for Pogba and Gundogan, I imagine they would be targeted first and Xhaka maybe secondary?

We need leaders on the pitch. He sounds like he would fit that role & only 23. Apart from Kompany, Zabaleta & Hart I struggle to see captain/leadership in our current squad.
This is a big issue for Pep to resolve. Attitude, desire, technical ability & work rate - all need improving when we kick off next season.
Pep does like midfielders & he is a winner. He will be clear with management which players he wants.
Let's hope they deliver.

We need 3 new central midfielders with Dinho and Delph staying. Xhaka, gundogan and Pogba are three of many we should be looking at but we have the attacking options, perhaps excepting a another winger like sane, but main concern is fullbacks and a back up keeper too.We need leaders on the pitch. So a €50m euro was mentioned in the German press two weeks ago and now their director says they would sell for that? A deal is done me thinks!!
