Grazie Mancini - The Gazetta Ad goes to print!

Humbled doesn't quite cut the way I've felt today, really appreciate all of your kind words.

Unlike York away, I have the name of every person who donated logged and saved for reference 20 years down the line.

A really stunning effort, and draws a line under Mancini's reign and signals the start of the next era.
As Gazzetta said today, it was 'historic' and I think even if someone attempts to rival our fans' efforts, it will never be topped. We were the first to ever do anything of the sort.

Adam you deserve every single word of thanks and praise because it comes from the heart. TBH at the beginning I did not think it would come off and as it gathered momentum it felt really exciting with each email and message we received. But what I have noticed with a lot of comments is the pride, happiness and joy that everyone is feeling - but the most noticeable thing is that we are all pretty much saying the same thing - how this is the completion of Roberto's time and we begin again and get behind the new Manager. How anyone could ever call us bitter is unbelievable.

Grazie Millie Adam CTWD !!!

Is there to be a statue?

Got to be. Or maybe a shrine with a candle that never goes out to represent the undying love we all feel for our hero.

I work for WHSmith, I have arranged for a number of stores to hopefully have (very limited) stock of this edition tomorrow. I say hopefully as foreign newspapers have a tendency to arrive a day late or not at all! I will post an update on availability tomorrow.

The stores are-

Altrincham, Ashton, Bolton, Bury, Manchester Arndale, Manchester west one, Oldham, Middleton, Rochdale, Sale, Stretford, Trafford and Stockport.

Stock will be available to personal callers to the stores on a first come first served basis. Please note- we cannot take payment over the phone nor can we reserve stock.

I doubt we will be able to meet demand but at least a few people will be able to get hold of a copy....I got as many copies as I could!

I can confirm that our stores have received the copies this morning, most only have 5 copies.

I'm extremely happy. Can't wait for the new season to start ;). Just think this Mancini stuff is a bit ott. Time to move on. The club has.

It's just a fitting tribute to a manager who brought us our first success in years.
As others have stated, it shows class.
You should try it sometime, rather than sarcastically belittling those who made the effort.

Blues - you have your best chance in Trafford - there'll be no takers for this in Rag Country

Therefore they should be freely available south of Birmingham then? ;-)

What, and just forget about the league title, the FAcup, getting into chumps league every season and the best football witnessed at the club in years?

History and past achievements are the life blood of the club. We even have a fancy tour dedicated to it at the stadium.
