The friend of a friend who speaks with Grealish quite often has said that he's regularly on the piss. They only see him on "event" days, such as creamfields, but when he's on the booze, there are no half measures. Champagne and bloody Mary's at breakfast!
He also said to this person, "I DON'T THINK you'll see me round here for much longer."
So nothing is confirmed but he knows/expects he'll be moving on

I love Grealish and I still believe he can do a job for us an 8.

But I was also out last night in town and a girl (extremely fit) was showing me pictures of her and her mate at a villa in Spain with him.

Was bizarre to see but on reflection somewhat predictable.

Hope he gets the help needed. I always got the impression Jack was a pep signing so can see why he has been upset with him. Lot of money for the club to drop on a player with this type of lifestyle but we did and here we are.

Recouping anything with this going on behind the scenes will be exceptional work from Hugo. Unless it’s all bull of course.

I suspect he'll look back and see a lot more medals than just for that one season.

He actually only played about 150 minutes more in the league when we won the treble, compared with the year before, when he also picked up a winners medal. He started all four of the finals we won while he was here, and even in his third season still played 2000+ minutes despite being a couple of injuries causing him issues.

He's certainly not been as successful personally as he could be, and it's definitely been downhill since the treble season, but I bet he's got a lot more good memories either side of that year.

Yea I’m sure he has, and again fair play to him for that, but the point I’m making and it’s not just him, that particular season was a standout one and will forever remain in their memories apart from posting his England kit pic when called up, he hadn’t kicked a ball for months will always remain with me

I think we need to be careful saying stuff like that. I know it is all speculation and opinion but the perception does tend to stick.

He has gone from a nice lad and a talented professional that tries very hard but ultimately just doesn't produce as much on the pitch as our other world class players. To, an alcoholic that needs help to function and cant travel abroad and an issue in the dressing room that Bernardo can't be around - in the space of a month.

He is a footballer that has fallen out of favour ang given time to find a move, that' really all we know.

I know we had just won the treble but the pictures of walker having to help him to walk during the immediate celebrations suggest he doesnt know when to stop, like i said i know we had just won the treble but he was the only player in that state.

Agreed. Total speculation. Our media journalists are evil & will have been watching Jack’s every movement. Where are all the stories & pictures of him “falling out of pubs smashed”
There aren’t any. (Forget the treble celebrations- understandable) but there is no other information to substantiate any of these allegations
I think you’re right - he just doesn’t play Pep’s game

Always seemed that him and Bernardo got on ok

I was careful hence why I did say that the rumours could all be a load of nonsense.

Didn’t know about travelling abroad nor Bernie issue. I responded to a poster claiming he had inside info.

Everyone has issues, let’s hope Jack can sort his out.

I can't think of any player with ability who hasn't improved under Pep apart from Grealish if I'm honest. I think Grealish is a good player but let's be honest, he's not a £100m player and doesn't win us any games. If he left tomorrow, I don't think we would be weakened. If he was (say) Moroccan then there wouldn't be much fuss about him. He's a good player but isn't world class when we signed him and hasn't improved much in my opinion. When he gets the ball I know where it's going - either backwards or we get a free kick. He's a boring footballer and carries absolutely no goal threat.

Pep has turned plenty of players from good to great/world class and if you can't improve under him then maybe you are best playing for the likes of Moyes/Nuno/Potter/etc - good but will be delighted with 1 League Cup win in your career.
Bony, Mangala, Phillips and Fernando

I have no idea but if KDB really wants Napoli to sign Jack the rumours are most likely untrue.
My opinion or best guess more accurately is he never really believed in himself enough to be himself on the pitch, and almost took Peps instruction too literally, about not losing the ball and lost confidence in himself. Suppose a case of imposter syndrome. Only my guess to reiterate.

He’s a great player, but a maverick and possibly the worst fit for our team/playing style unfortunately. Could imagine him being outstanding at a club like Tottenham or on an even bigger stage club like Real where they pretty much let their flair players do what they want. That’s not us, Barca, Arsenal etc.

It is us though, as long as players know what to do and when to do it, Pep never restricted KDB, or Silva, Sterling, he won’t restrict Cherki or Marmoush, as long as they pick the right moment to show their flair at the right times. Peps had many players like that over the years.Grealish’s problem IMO was he lost his confidence in trusting himself and tried too hard not to lose the ball and went into his shell.

Capn Walker jumped ship when needed last season. It was time for Jack to step up to the mark and show his worth. City needed match winners and resiliant players to take the initiative and stop the collapses that were happening.

We all recall and applauded that time when Grealish bust a gut to get back to make a critical tackle but that desire no longer appears to be there in the same way. His biggest weakness is lack of goals and assists. Instead of drawing free kicks 30 yards out I'd expected him to try and win more penalties. He is a big strong lad who seems reluctant to get in the box and slow to shoot when he does.

Gvardiol and O'Reilly playing out of position at LB were a bigger goal threat for getting into the penalty area and scoring. Pep put on an untried Echiverri in the Cup Final and he nearly equalised. I doubt if Jack would've been a position for a chance.

Teams evolve, players and staff come and go. Bernardo's comment shows all was not well in the camp and Jack was not a solution, regardless of any off field issues. Personally I do not believe he offers enough wide or in mid field for a team like City. The game has changed and it is is probably best he leaves City with thanks for all he did from the club and fans.

So Pep told him how to play, Jack took it too literally, Pep never spoke about it and carried on playing him.

Doesn't seem like a likely scenario to me.

Not what I said, well only if you are being pedantic and taking what I said too literally, well except for the word almost which you just ignored.

Okay so he almost took pep too literally and Pep carried on playing him even though he lost confidence in himself.

Erm..... yeah still doesn't make much sense, I think the only thing that is known is everyone is guessing and making up scenarios even if they fall apart with a bit of logical questioning, maybe one day we will find out exactly what went on.
