Grealish left out of the CWC squad (pg34)

Sterling did that running to the back post for the tap in thing exceptionally well. But made so many mistakes that he often seemed a burden. Perhaps mistakenly on reflection.

Grealish seems to get way more love than he deserves on here. Let's let him leave and move on. He's not for us. Epitomizes the slow-the-game-down-and-pass-backwards malaise we find ourselves in.

Sterling is the best winger we’ve had in the Mansour era.

Wow. March? It’s June now & you can only find one.
Yes march! What are you so fuckin' bothered about?

He was caught pissed up with a bottle in his hand in the early hours after the Plymouth game. I think it's unprofessional and unacceptable and the club obviously do hence Grealish being frozen and out of the CWC squad told to find another club.

That Lyon one during Covid I was in Northumberland on a trip with the wife, no pub in the village had BT sports so we were sat around my phone trying to watch it in a boozer, when he fucking missed that!!
Apologies for taking this further off topic but Sterling gets the blame for that game for that sitter in the 88th minute to equalise but Edersons pathetic goalkeeping on all 3 goals never gets a mention.

I’m not bothered - you are though.

He's been caught by paparazze several times since staggering out of clubs in the early hours whilst he should have been at home in bed.

Just one example provided.

The club know full well he has a drink problem

Who told you?

This has the potential to be one of the longest threads about a player ever!
There's a longer one about Jack, add another 490 pages here..

How is this even a discussion? Comparing Sterling's contributions to Jack's? Do stats not mean anything anymore? Do goals not mean anything anymore? I know Pep revolutionised football but has the revolution gone so far that fans now compare a winger with 100 goals and over 60 assists to one with 12 goals and under 20 assists? If that's the direction football is heading towards then please hit the brakes, turn around and take me back to the "obsolete" version of football where goals and assists really count for something. Jesus!

Yeah but sterling didn’t wear his socks low and have a “cool” haircut.

If grealish was perceived to be ordinary looking and not as some nonsensical “jack the lad” type he would not get half the love as he does on here.

Average player who produced below average numbers for us aside from a fairly decent 6 month spell (which has seemingly turned into he single handily won us games in the eyes of some)

I very much expect it will be difficult to shift him permanently. That says it all.
