Grealish left out of the CWC squad (pg34)

Must have been a small smattering of boos like Milner.
Kinnell bobby, you mustn't have been sat near me if you think the boos Milner got were a similar level to Sterling. Unless it was just me booing for everyone around me;-)
Just thinking of Milner setting himself up to take the 5th penalty in the shootout at Wembley has got me booing him again, and I'm in bed tucked up now;-)

Just seen the clip, he has had more than a few i agree with you. Such a sad look hope he can sort himself out
He can do what he wants, we don't play league football for a month and I'm sure he'll be back to full fitness by the time that's started.

He also posted a picture of him sweating his arse off solo training today, but as per usual, that doesn't get recognised.

It's not sad at all, he's a footballer who will be in top shape and condition by August 16th, otherwise he wouldn't be playing for the club he does now!

And as they say, no one tells the truth more than a drunk man

Sure.

Remember Grealish had called out City in his early days.

I don't forget things like that and if you were a proper City fan, you'd know that too.
Tbh, I don’t remember that. What did he say?

The country was awash with rags and dippers in them days supported by an arse licking media…

Absolutely.

I think what irks me about Grealish is him not standing on business and saying he was a bit of a snide tw@ back then and apologise.

It would make a difference. But there's loads on here glazing him, which is their right as is to say 'he was a kid', but that doesn't mean not being accountable for past actions and moving forward.

It is what it is, though and I don't like tw@s at my club.

Haha, love it.
I’d never boo Sterling or Grealish.

I’d boo Milner all day long the ungrateful tw@.
If I saw him at the shops I’d boo him.

i think you have to question the judgement and possibly the character of anyone who doesn’t like Jack as a person.

He has something that's missing from a lot of modern football: authenticity. He isn't pretending to be someone he's not and for every time that might have got him into trouble there's been plenty of times when it's done him and us proud.

The night of the Supercup, UEFA indulged in the kind of tokenism they're good at. They dragged a young disabled girl onto the medal podium and then proceeded to ignore her. That was until Jack came up for his medal and suddenly she was acknowledged, seen and treated with kindness and respect. Not because he's a cynical twat who's curating his brand in the hope of a gong and more endorsements but because it's in his nature, it's who he is. A flawed (as are we all) but decent bloke far less self-absorbed than many in his profession.

Let me be straight, I don't hate or like Grealish, but I have no care if he leaves.

Don't think he ever apologised for saying this stuff, but that's fine.

His more egregious stuff has defo gone.
Mate he won the treble with us. That will mean more than any shite affiliation he had with a club when he was young. He’s a blue.

FFS, get over it.

Jack and his Mrs at Oasis.

He looks fit physically, and is ready to start a new season at City. I hope Pep gives Jack another chance?

It amazes me that we have a generational talent here for sale, a player who single handily won us the treble, a player who wins games for us by just being on the pitch and winning fouls, a player who was the heartbeat of the side over the past 3 seasons yet nobody seems to want him.

It’s almost as if football is a very small world and everybody knows he has not been living the life away from the pitch and professional clubs don’t want his type. Just look at Rooney (somebody who was way more talented that grealish) and see how much he declined at a similar age. If you don’t live the life it will catch up with you.

We should have fucked him off when he was sent him from training and left out of Fulham squad during the title run in. Pep has given Grealish so many chances yet some will still blame pep for his downfall!

It will be a loan with us covering most of his ridiculous wages. I still have no idea why pep was so desperate to sign him. It was clear he was never going to live the life and besides I never thought he was that good to begin with

I am not sure if it was true that Guardiola was desperate to sign him, even if that what the media alluded to. I will not be surprised that getting Grealish was mainly because of a brain fart idea by the PR team at City, assuming that being English with certain image that makes him popular among English football followers particularly young girls and boys will improve City’s image in the media. All big clubs have PR teams, and some have significant influence. However, it is not uncommon PR are out of their depth and make terrible decisions (Real Madrid is a good example). Apart from that, I agree with you on everything else, particularly that he was not even that good of a footballer to join City. A mediocre player who, at his best, which lasted for half a season out of 4, during the treble season was “a very small piece” in a huge system that included several much better and influential players than him, yet some delusional fanboys keep educating us he was the “center and heart” of the treble team!! A few years from now, when all is forgotten, it will become clear that Grealish was the worst signing (considering how much the Club spent on him) in Mansoor’s era. The sooner we get rid the better for the sake of the team’s welfare and stability. It will not be shocking after he leaves he will then turn on City and City’s fans, and I am sure some on here will still defend him because: it would be under the effect of alcohol or it is media against poor him. Some will just never ever consider Grealish accountable for his acts or sayings. At the meantime, and more importantly, I am still waiting for the world’s football elites to knock on City’s door asking for the service of the phenomenal footballer named Jack Grealish. What a joke :))
