Add on Jack is nowhere near Raheem in the goals scored and made stakes despite some saying he was the worst finisher at the club at the time.
I expect many that are filled with hate towards Jack, were the same towards Raheem.

As I said earlier, it’s a defect of the mind.

(Don’t get those vibes from you btw, even though you’ve been critical of his performances on the pitch, which is absolutely fair comment)

I want Jack to do well,as in all City players but sadly i just cannot see it happening for him.

I haven't got a clue what most fans are on about, Jack has consistently played the way Pep has asked of him and done it well so no idea where this nonsense has come from that his levels have dropped, they haven't he's been consistent throughout.
As for why he's not getting game time and frozen out that's a very odd situation and hopefully we'll find out in time.
Such a shame as the guy comes across as a really top down to earth bloke that fits in with the traditional nature of City fan base.

Jack is an enigma that's for sure. He's got a heart of gold, so caring, and everyone at the club seems to absolutely love him.. On the pitch he's seems to be of little use to us. His rumoured drinking levels during a season are just that I know. The post season drinking is of course fair game. But with absences during the season not always explained or called niggles by Pep, plus the CWC ommision, it looks like we're trying to let him down gently to find another club. I feel bad for Jack, he was obviously hurt by ommision. He's been showing his fitness post season on insta but can't help think he's a fitness freak that can mix the bottle (impressive from someone that can only do one of those activities), and I don't think elite sportsmen can do that. I thought him being a new dad might drive him in the right direction, but I think the club have handle this extremely well and kept it as private as possible. As a final thought, I wish Jack the very best of health, if he suffers from addiction he needs the support of the world. I don't want him flogged by the S*n for the next 20 years like Gazza, I want to see him grow old happy with a beautiful family and be smiling whenever he goes.
Lots of players have been functioning alcoholics

would be awful for team chemistry if he keeps sitting on bench or in the stands on 300K salary while others starting each week earning much less. even Rodri, Foden doesnt get that high salary currently as Grealish, neither Ederson, any of our regular starting defenders etc. its fucking nonsense imo. for that salary you either first or 2nd name on the first eleven or better to be sold.

Just removed a few posts, but let's cut the personal arguments out. Thanks.
It seems the two posters haven't taken heed of your request. I've deleted another bunch of posts. Asking nicely obviously hasn't worked so, to clarify; if the two posters continue there argument on here, rather than either putting each other on ignore or taking it to DMs, threadbans will be issued.

I agree he has been consistently bang average. I'm sure he gave Pep just what he wanted, minus the goals and assists. Seems a nice bloke but time to move on, if we can find anyone to pay his wages.

Well thats your opinion I think he's been above bang average with the exception of last season but then everyone in the squad has been bang average or crap last season so it doesn't tell me its time to move him on.

I was never a Sterling fan, either.

Guess the plebs will come for me about that, too!
He was a key component of the best domestic team in history, and we squeezed every last bit of juice out of his raw potential. Even when he dropped off, and he did drop off, he contributed key moments to our success (against Villa as a sub). I get he was frustrating at times, but he's up there for one of the best wingers we have had. Not coming for you, I just don't understand why people hold on to negativity.

I appreciate you saying you're not coming for me.

Maybe the reason Sterling didn't get me going was because I went from expecting a goal/ play to happen, to being frustrated when it didn't happen to not expecting anything to work out at all, so when things did work out it was a bonus.

It's the hope that kills you, so I guess it's kind of like Grealish, too, having thought about it.

Sterling was fantastic for us up until his last 18 months when he stank the place out but he was a monster in the centurions season, nobody could get near him.

He had 31 goals and 21 assists in his last two seasons at City.

He definitely dropped off in quality, but it shows just how high his standards were in the previous three seasons.

Raheem turned out to be a bargain for us, a bona fide City legend. Like every player, he peaked and went into decline. We were lucky to see him at his very best, and shouldn't criticise him for not maintaining that level.

His stats in his last two seasons stand well above those of most of our current players, Jack Grealish being the most obvious.
