Crowded house, Amazing Band.

New Zealand?

Not really..... Crowded House, they were originally 33% more Australian than Kiwi

"Crowded House are a pop rock band formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1985. The founding members were New Zealander Neil Finn (vocalist, guitarist, primary songwriter), and Australians Paul Hester (drums) and Nick Seymour (bass). "

Only when Finns Brother joined di they become 50% Kiwi, so although Oz/Kiwi mix they were more Oz than Kiwi

they were recently voted Best ever Oz band by viewers on MusicMax

Wolfmother
Jet
The Vines

Also not bad are Birds of Tokyo and Sneaky Sound System.

Not a band but Ash Grunwald is pretty decent.

Just to put an end to all this Aussie or New Zealander debate...anything good that comes out of NZ, us Aussies will claim it as our own. Therefore all the good NZ bands are in fact Aussie.

I started listening since Frogstomp and kind of lost track after young modern album. Also played in several grunge themed gigs back in the 90s, under the name SIL and played several Nirvana and Silverchair numbers.

-- Thu Apr 03, 2014 12:04 pm --

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=50S7sbXUSIs
