The Commotions were (I think) Scottish but Lloyd Cole is from Buxton / Chapel en le Frith. The band formed when at Uni in Glasgow

Saw him like 10 years ago at the Academy and he dedicated a song to Kevin Keegan, said he used to watch City (and one of the Sheffield clubs) as a kid.
My mate went to see him this week at Hebden Bridge Trades and Labour club!
