Great Celebrity Drunks

A friend of mine was quiet close to Ollie Read, says he stopped going out as very one wanted to have a drinking competition with him, sad really. I had a pint with Rascal yesterday does that count for anything :-)
 
Jack Kerouac. Changed youth cuture forever, hated the limelight, dead at 47, living with his mum.

HST. Wasn't just the drink that killed Hunter, but it can't have helped.

Jim Morrison. Dead and fat in a Paris bathtub, aged 27. Shame.

My dad's claim to fame was that he once beat Higgins in a frame of snooker. It wasn't until many years later that he admitted that they played at 3am, Higgins could barely stand up and was wearing boxing gloves.
