Great Film Scenes Involving Trains

I was always more of a Grace Kelly man back in the day, but wholeheartedly agree with you.

Edit. Or maybe it was Tippi Hedren. Or maybe it was Kim Novak. He could pick them, could Hitchcock.
Ha — indeed he could. Grace Kelly was so beautiful she was scarcely believable. Here EMS is just the exact right combination of beautiful and playful.

It also doesn’t hurt having the unflappable Cary Grant actually completely put off his gait here — great acting.

Absolutely love this film. My favo(u)rite Hitchcock.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford (2007)

Roger Deakins, the cinematographer of the film called the sequence of the arrival of the train in darkness as the high point in his illustrious career.

Ha, indeed. We could have a thread of its own just for Hitchcock. My fav one varies. Most days it’s Vertigo if I’m honest, but I love all his films really.
