They'd do it in CGI, though, and that'd be an abomination.

I can still remember the music, magical stuff - especially the chase music. But then this was all new in the late sixties/early seventies. What a time to grow up in.

I absolutely loved it. You're right, if they went down CGI route steps would need to be taken.
