Good to hear some nice things for a change.

Highlights :

Robinho said: 'I'm not stupid. Of course United is a more famous club in England.

'At City I can help to make a difference. What difference could I have made at a club like United when they can't go any higher? The challenge appealed to me.'

The Brazilian said he has been impressed with Mark Hughes and enjoys a good relationship with the manager, even speaking to him in Spanish from time to time

He said: 'It's a good team, but it's not a great team. If we were a great team then we would be at the top of the league and not in the middle. But I feel we are progressing.

'There is a question of consistency, which has not been good enough this season. We need to get a run of victories and there are good players here. They need to become winners. It's not just about signing big names.

'It's not in my mind to leave the club. When I go on to the pitch I carry the club's shirt in my heart. I want to repay everyone for making me so welcome. Fans have not seen the best of me yet."

I daresay the best 32m we ever spent!

um, not wanting to be pedantic, but isn't it the only 32m we've ever spent.

Im 38 and if he left us in the summer I would still say he's the best player I have ever seen in a city shirt.

Can you imagine what he will be like next season with this seasons experience under his belt?

The guy has all the tools to be the best player in the world, he just needs better team mates.

It's up to someone to bring them in, whether its the board, the manager or a different one we'll see.

I've not heard anyone (other than maybe steve) say stuff like that in ages. Thats what it should be about, a challenge not just glory and a wage packet.

I really hope we do get to see the best of Robinho.

The guy is a gem and it's brilliant that he is here.

But, I think we have one more season from him max, unless things really start to progress

Get yourselves Four Four Two and read the interview.

There really is'nt anything in there that you do'nt already know, but he is scathing about Real Madrid.

Long may he be with us.

He can kiss the badge all he wants, it doesn't bother me one bit, I love it. He just needs to be a little bit more consistent and not be afraid to take a game by the scruff of the neck.
