I do actually remember reading about an 'infamous' shirt but couldn't find where I'd read it or what shirt it was. Even got my Manchester A Football History book out by Gary James but couldn't find it in there.

Anyway yellow = being chased by wasps and I don't like wasps so I'll still go for the white, although I quite liked the 2005/06 away shirt that was yellow.

I've got an image of Ian Bishop in the kit in my Facebook research folder:

Re: Away kits 2010/12 Dark Blue v 1999/2000 Red & Black - pg 50

i think it's 25-13 to the dark blue. i know it won because it went 10 votes in front on more than one occasion but the final score was confused my my eldest son wandering in the room trying to rap but sounding like a bonehead and making me lose count.

to the geeks claiming that the maroon kit has been unfairly treated because we played in it 2-3 times with a different collar, i say get a grip. but in the interests of including EVERY away shirt we've played in with a sponsor, i'm prepared to admit it into a three way tie in round two.
